Social aspects
The project has contributed toward sustainable urban development; during construction, Skanska ensured that 95 percent of construction waste was diverted from landfill, which far exceeded local regulations. Regarding energy, the buildings are designed to use 40 percent less energy than the Romanian code for office buildings. The energy-efficient façade with shading system together with the water efficient fixtures and the solar panels for hot water preheating are implemented green solutions that contribute at lower operational costs and at a healthier working place.
